The Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Legal Secretary / Conveyancing Department / Legal Assistant to join a fast pace Conveyancing Department. A successful Legal Secretary / Conveyancing Department / Legal Assistant shall predominantly be working within the Commercial Property sector. Experience working as a Legal Secretary supporting a Conveyancing department is essential.

Key responsible:

· Preparing contracts and legal document through auto typing
· Handling clients, solicitors and public enquiries over the phone
· Meetings with client face to face
· Diary management and booking meetings
· Preparing SDLT form and registrations
· Maintaining and updating client details
· Attend meetings on the solicitors behalf
· Dealing with correspondences (letters, emails, text messages)
· Responsible for typing and billing on cases

Skills required:

· Ability to hit the ground running
· Previous experience in Conveyancing
· Work on own initiative and part of a team
· Strong communication skills
· Hard working individual
· Ability to work under pressure
· A friendly and positive can do attitude
· Audio typing (65 wpm and above)
