Machine Operator - Nights role - £24,901.00 plus shift allowance (£6000 per annum) - Permanent role - Avonmouth, Bristol - Benefits include 33 days holiday, Pension, Bonus, Life Assurance.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Machine Operator to join an expanding manufacturing company based in Avonmouth. Our client are going through a period of growth and have various roles available - working a permanent night shift (Sun to Thurs). Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be operating a Saw machine and duties will include:

• Following drawings and work orders to cut materials to size and thickness
• Checking materials and carrying out quality checks
• Inspecting first off, using tape, micrometers and caliper instruments
• Stamping and labelling finished goods
• Using FLT and some warehouse duties

The successful candidate will have previous machine operating experience and ideally have worked with metal parts and materials. You will be able to work from drawings and follow work instructions, as well as checking finished goods. In addition you will have good IT skills and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast paced, busy environment.
