Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - Mitcheldean, Gloucestershire - Permanent opportunity - Upto £35,000 - Monday to Friday 8.30am til 5pm

We have a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Machinist looking to take a step up or a Production Supervisor looking for a new opportunity to utilise their skills.
Our Client are a leading edge manufacture who are currently expanding and would like a "hands on" Production Supervisor to join their team. To take responsibility for the smooth running the factory and also be able to work in the office.

The successful Production Supervisor will be responsible for:

·Making sure the factory runs smoothly and Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
·Attend to machine breakdowns: basic up keep and maintenance
·Support Production Operatives with any issues and day to day management
·Scheduling of work, production planning and quality checking
·Making sure production targets are met to the best possible standard
·Responsible for distribution
·Managing stock and material levels
·Putting new idea's and processes together for improvements
·Managing new production projects

You will need to have:

·Hands on Production Machining experience
·Strong communication both verbal and written
·Able to lead by example
·Interest in developing people
·Able to work to targets
·Keep a calm attitude at all times
·Good computer skills
·ISO9001 experience
