Our client, a leading manufacturer of Semi Conductor machinery, are looking for a Stores Supervisor / Manager to join their team.
Job Title: Stores Supervisor / Manager
Salary: £28,000 per annum

Profile: Stores Supervisor / Manager
Must have previous supervisory experience within a Warehouse / Stores environment, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Must be IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience of ERP systems would be preferred
Must have a UK driving licence and Forklift licence would be advantageous
The successful Stores Supervisor / Manager will ensure the smooth running of all stores functions and controlling all areas of stock control activities.
The Stores Supervisor / Manager will be responsible for allocation of workload in order to support the production assembly areas and adjusting inventory levels. Additional duties will include project management, monitoring personnel and ensuring data accuracy.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, organisation and problem solving skills. You will also be able to co-ordinate and work within a team and use your initiative.

Profile: Previous experience within a print environment essential, preferably within a label manufacturer or Newspaper
Must have strong reprographic skills and be able to use Illustrator
The duties of the Mac Operator will include, creating final customer proofs from the initial supplied raw artwork, preparing print ready repro files ready for press (stepping, trapping etc), positive film / flexo plate checking and collating job bags ready for production.
You will be proficient in Adobe creative suite, especially Illustrator, a good knowledge of Esko Artpro / Backstage / Deskpack would be a distinct advantage. You should be used to working within a pressurised manufacturing environment, be resourceful and flexible, with excellent attention to detail. Ideally you will also have an understanding of print processes including Flexo, Flatbed / Rotary Screen or Roto Gravure.
You will have worked in a busy pre-press department / production environment previously and have experience with working with blue chip clients. We are looking for people who have exacting standards and who apply energy and enthusiasm to all they do. Our client has asked us to state that this is a strictly non-design role.
