We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality, Health & Safety Manager to join a global and successful company, based at their manufacturing site in Ebbw Vale, South Wales paying a salary of up to £35,000 per annum plus excellent benefits package.

£35,000 per annum

Ebbw Vale, South Wales
Mon - Fri 38 hrs per week

Due to an internal restructure, this is a new role within our client''''s organisation and they are looking for an experienced Quality, Health & Safety Manager who can join them to review their processes and systems, to make changes and improvements where necessary.

Duties will include:

·Lead, develop and maintain QMS & Health & Safety programmes across two sites
·Maintain ISO certification. to include carrying out regular audits
·Regular consultation with Department Manager concerning Quality issues
·Maintain Health & Safety Handbook
·Be responsible for all Health & Safety processes included assessment, implementation and documentation
·Attend regular meetings and report to management on a monthly basis

Skills and experience:

·CQI Certificate in Quality Management or equivalent
·Knowledge of ISO9001 & 14001 is essential
·NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management and Fire Safety & Risk Management
·Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is essential
·Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
·Must have a full driving licence - will be required to travel between sites

The successful candidate will have experience in risk assessment/management ,writing method statements and preparing for audits. You will have previously ensured compliance with relevant standards and processes and have an in depth knowledge of associated legislation.

In addition you will have a passion for Quality, Health & Safety, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will enable you to make relevant changes and improvements across the business.
