Salary: £17,846 pro rata
Hours: Monday and Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm

Our client is a well established manufacturing company based in Gloucester and they are looking to appoint a new part time receptionist / switchboard operator / telephonist for a job share opportunity. They are truly valued for the important part they play in the overall success of the company.
Your duties as receptionist for this company will be as follows:
- First port of call for all incoming calls, this is currently averaging about 80-90 calls per day, but can exceed 100 in their peak periods
- Meeting and greeting all visitors to the company in a friendly and courteous manner
- arranging lunches when necessary
- making tea and coffee for visitors
- supporting staff with general administration duties so good working knowledge of Word & Excel is required
As this is such an important position within the company are client is looking for someone that has previous reception/customer service skills, someone who is well presented and articulate, who can adapt their style to reflect the people they are interacting with and someone who is happy in what can sometimes be a very stand alone role. This role wouldn''''t suit someone that is looking to use this as a stepping stone to another position within the company.
