Our client, an established and leading manufacturer based within Corby, are seeking a strong Accounts Assistant to join their office on a permanent and part time basis.
This is a newly created standalone position, reporting directly to the Finance Director. The role is varied, and requires the successful candidate to be organised with the ability to meet monthly deadlines. This is a great opportunity for a highly accurate Accounts Assistant who enjoys being busy.
Duties will include but will not be limited to:
• Collate purchase invoices, posting to the ledger and reconcile to creditor statements
• Chase outstanding invoices on creditor statements
• Manage debtor accounts including credit control
• Produce monthly payroll records
• Day to day administrative duties including issuing reports and statistics
The successful candidate will need to be a flexible to tasks with the ability to work within a small team. You will have an enthusiastic approach to tasks, and excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate at all levels.
Good IT skills are a must including working knowledge of Opera or a similar accounting software.
Previous experience within a similar position is essential, preferably within a busy office based environment along with a minimum level 3 AAT qualification.
