Our client is looking for a Sales Administrator to support their busy internal sales support team, sales director and national account managers.

This role supports the sales and sales support teams providing the administrative function for sales and pre-production. Working closely with the existing sales and operational support team you will respond to, and route all incoming sales enquiries and ensure timely and accurate responses as well as routing prospects to Account Manager Specialists as necessary. Good IT skills (in Word, Excel and Outlook) are essential, in addition to being well organised and able to multi-task effectively. This is NOT a sales role involving cold calls but will involve a great deal of telephone communication and is office based.

Over time you will learn more of the sales and operation co-ordinator functions and take increasing responsibility in those roles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle and record all incoming telephone direct sales enquiries, qualifying and dealing as required
  • First point of contact for sales related enquiries
  • Provide high level of service to all clients and prospects
  • Filing, Archiving and Data entry
  • Maintain and update customer records with account activity
  • Scanning data to Clarity (back office software)
  • Inputting client / order payments into system
  • Courier despatch processing and management of delivery queries
  • Document generation and distribution to clients via email / fax / mail
  • Deal with all online shop orders and process one-off enquiries through to order
  • Process orders for parts

Skills Required:

  • Flexible, self-motivated and punctual
  • Good communicator with excellent telephone skills
  • Able to act on own initiative / forward thinking / problem solving
  • Demonstrate a personality suited to a customer facing position
  • Adaptable and able to multi task and show a willingness to learn new skills
  • Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines

Education and Training:

  • A good level of computer skills including MS Excel and Word
  • Excellent written and spoken English, (ideally Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above)
