A permanent position for a Field Service Engineer with experience of repairing and maintaining plant, automotive and material handling equipment. This is regular days position based out of the Yorkshire area and attending customers’ sites throughout the UK offering stability and variety.
As the Field Service Engineer, you will be attending customers’ sites to diagnose hydraulic, electrical or mechanical faults, repair on site if possible or arrange further action if necessary. Clear communication with customers is essential and so a professional manner is required at all times as well as liaising with and advising internal and external colleagues to ensure smooth resolution of issues.
The successful candidate could have a stable work history that shows thorough understanding and experience of maintaining plant and material handling equipment although this client is willing to look at a recently qualified candidate who are ready for a permanent career. A driving licence is essential.
