Sheffield hours are: 6am – 3pm Monday – Thursday, 6am – 11am Friday.
Chesterfield hours will be either: 7am – 4pm Monday – Thursday, 7am – 12pm Friday or 8am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, 8am – 1pm Friday

We are proud to be working alongside this well established Engineering business whom are currently based in the heart of Sheffield. Due to ongoing growth and development, our client will be relocating to brand new premises within the Chesterfield area this summer. This company has been based in Sheffield for almost sixty years and is proud to ship their products all over the world. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual whom is looking to join a company that are continually developing and staying ahead of their industry.
As a CNC Miller your daily duties will include:
Programming, Setting and Operating CNC Milling Machines
Reading from 2D Technical drawings
Working on Heidenhain controls
We are open to hearing from candidates with this experience from different industries e.g. medical, oil and gas, wood manufacturing. This company is relocating to brand new, newly refurbished offices in Chesterfield in June/July this year so hours will slightly differ from site to site.
Whilst working at the Sheffield site, hours of work are: 6am – 3pm Monday – Thursday, 6am – 11am Friday (Midweek and Saturday overtime is available)
Chesterfield hours will be either - 7am – 4pm Monday – Thursday, 7am – 12pm Friday or 8am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, 8am – 1pm Friday (again Midweek and Saturday overtime is available)
The ideal candidate must have experience working on Heidenhain CNC controls and be able to Program, Set and Operate CNC Milling Machines. In addition to this you must be competent with hand tools, drills etc. and be eager to learn. The successful candidate will be self disciplined and have the ability to remain on task when unsupervised.
In return you will benefit from a temporary to permanent position within a well known Engineering company that are about to experience one of their most exciting times in history with their new premises. The hourly rate is £9 and the hours include an early finish on Friday. You will benefit from weekly pay and 28 days holiday. There is also an annual bonus scheme which you will be eligible for upon receiving your permanent contract.
