Salary: £19,572 plus shift allowance of 28.5% (£25,150) + bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week - rotating days and nights shifts
Duration: Initially 1 year fixed term with review after 1 year

Alongside the salary there is a quarterly bonus scheme in place which has been paid at 12.05% for the previous two quarters, this is based on gross pay for that period. You will also benefit from Level 1 Westfield Health Scheme, 28 days holiday inc stats increase in line with service to a maximum of 35 days and free car parking. We have a full time initial 1 year fixed term contract for an experienced Shift Analyst / Laboratory Technician at our client’s Sheffield based site. To be successful in the position of Laboratory Technician role, we are looking for candidates that have experience of preparing samples using hand tools (Lever Shear) and rotary grinding disc machines. As well as experience of using Leco CS 200/230 and TC 400/500 analysers. You will be analysing metal for Carbon, Sulpher, Nitrogen and Oxygen content – ensuring it is within certain perimeters.

You will be required to schedule samples in Dylan and log results and data accurately using the company wide management information system and Microsoft Office Applications.

The successful Shift Analyst must have previous experience of working in a similar role within a metals company completing metals chemical analysis.
