Our client is a successful and established precision engineering company based in Bristol looking for a skilled CNC miller/ Manual miller / XYZ milling machinist.

Our client operates a small but friendly team of engineers and offers a great opportunity to join an established team as a manual turner operating an XYZ turning machine. The CNC Manual Turner / XYZ Turner will manage your own workload with jobs allocated from the engineering supervisor.

The CNC Manual Turner / XYZ Turner will have a history of working in precision engineering producing small batches and one off's to fine tolerances.

The successful CNC Manual Turner / XYZ Turner is likely to have served an engineering apprenticeship as a skilled machinist. However candidates who are time served in machining could also be suitable if they can demonstrate a suitable track record in CNC and manual machining, particularly with an XYZ turning machine with protrak controls.

The ideal engineer will ideally have experience programming, setting and operating, producing machined parts from engineering drawings.

However as mentioned experience with XYZ machines, Colchester multi turn with Fanuc controls would be particular of interest.
