Job Title: Finisher / Assembler

Salary: £20,280 + paid overtime + productivity bonus

Location: Tewkesbury

Hours: Mon - Thur 8.00 - 5.00, Fri 8.00 - 1.00

Our client supplies finished products to the medical and aerospace industries and has built a strong customer base due to the quality of their products. Formed in 1962, the company still has a family run attitude, and as a result the staff retention is excellent.

As Finisher / Assembler your role will involve the following:

• hand finishing of products using a variety of air-powered tools
• measuring completed components
• resolving assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications
• deburring parts with visual aids
• assemble components by examining connections for correct fit

As Finisher / Assembler you will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Experience of using precision measuring equipment
• Use of hand-grinding equipment
• Lapping and finishing experience would be useful but not essential
• Experience of working with small components is essential
