A rare opportunity has arisen to join a well establish manufacturing company within their Engineering Department as an Electrical Systems Engineer / Controls Engineer / Electrical PLC Engineer. The successful Electrical Systems Engineer / Controls Engineer / Electrical PLC Engineer will maintain all systems, ensure all processes operate effectively and work on small projects.
Key responsibilities will be:
·Design and development new control systems.
·Maintain and modify existing systems.
·Work with computer software for drives, controls and PLC's.
·Carry out PPM's.
·Deliver and support with continuous improvements
·Project management of cost and time.
·Control purchasing of own equipment.
·Provide advice and support to engineering team.
·Work across different sites (very close proximity)
·Ensure projects are completed within agreed time-scales.
·Organise and plan multiple tasks.

The ideal Electrical Systems Engineer with possess relevant electrical engineering qualifications, as well as, having experience and knowledge on fault diagnosis with PLC's. It would be advantageous to have a good understanding of production equipment. But the willingness to learn any new equipment is vital.
