Field Service Engineering Co-ordinator - Automotive / Plant
Up to £29k dependent on experience
Excellent opportunity for someone with working knowledge of motors to undertake an office based role coordinating and organising field based engineers to attended customer sites. The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical background, have served a craft apprenticeship and worked within heavy automotive, HGV, plant or the generator industry before moving into a service desk / office based role.
You role as Field Service Engineering Co-ordinator will include:
Dealing with customers to take arrange service appointments and take details of breakdowns
Providing remote advice and assistance where possible
Arranging engineers to go to site to diagnose and fix engine problems and undertake periodical servicing
Liaising with customers, dealing with after service / warranty enquiries
Processing orders, quotations and invoices
Ordering of parts
Managing engineers on a day to day basis
Processing of timesheets
